Barry Gore

Barry Gore has over 40 years experience working in consulting engineering practices on the design and construction of building services. He was made a fellow of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers in 1986 and four years later went on to be granted Chartered Engineer status. In 1977 Barry joined a firm of architects in Nigeria, setting up their building services design division. On returning to the UK in 1979 he joined YRM Engineers, where he was made a Director and later on a partner, prior to flotation on the Stock Market.

In 1988 Barry formed his own company, The Gore Partnership Limited. The company was acquired by Waterman Partnership Holdings plc in 1991 and Barry became a Director of Waterman Partnership Limited. In 1993 the company changed its name to Waterman Gore Limited and five years later Barry was elected to the main board of Waterman Group plc.

Today Barry is the Director of Waterman International Holdings, Waterman International Asia and Waterman AHW (Sydney, Australia). In addition, Barry is also the Chairman of Waterman Building Services and Waterman AHW (Melbourne, Australia).
