geotechnical engineer - solihull

Due to an increase in committed workload for 2010 in the highways, energy and major infrastructure development sectors we are looking to recruit a Geotechnical Engineer at Engineer Level to work within the land Engineering Division in Solihull.

We are looking for an ambitious geotechnical engineer with an MSc in Geotechnics who want to become Chartered over the next couple of years with experience in the following areas:

• Geotechnical design earthworks, foundations, slopes and retaining structures.
• High standard of report writing skills
• Good Client communication skills
• Experience of managing ground investigations
• Ideally either some experience of numerical modelling or an aptitude/ interest in developing these skills.

There is an emphasis of developing Engineers within the team and this is rewarded by increasing responsibility and career development.
