Our secondment and outsourcing service provides our clients with highly professional, technical staff to assist with peaks in workload or when short-term specialist expertise is required. We offer a range of secondment options allowing clients to use their staff budget in the most cost-effective way, eliminating management time spent on recruitment advertising and the possibility of expensive selection mistakes.
When the need arises for specialists, we can satisfy this type of demand by supplying our own staff. This service has secured repeat business because we know who to place in the right job and we build long term relationships with our clients, giving honest advice based on our absolute understanding of the markets in which we work. Our secondment and outsourcing service co-exists with the traditional consultancy Waterman offers globally. Our clients benefit from the fact that all seconded staff have the advantage of calling on the expertise and management support of permanent Waterman staff members should the need arise.
Individual Secondees
Our secondees work for Local Authorities, Central Government, Consultants and Contractors across several sectors. They are available for short and long term support, based at a client’s office or on site within integrated teams alongside our client's own staff. We can provide Clerks of Works to Senior Chartered Professionals, as well as Architectural Assistants, Building Surveyors and Environmental/Geotechnical specialists. We will ensure that our secondees are available to return to our clients periodically from one project to another, because we know how important it is to build up and sustain good working relationships.
Team Secondees
We have experienced an increasing demand for our multi-skilled teams to work on projects, particularly within the social housing sector, where Housing Associations and Local Authorities need to deliver government driven targets, such as Decent Homes Improvements.
Insurance
Seconded staff are fully covered by the Company's insurances, including Employer’s and Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
