Biodiversity Toolkit shortlisted for IEMA Sustainability Impact Awards
Waterman is delighted that our Biodiversity Toolkit has been shortlisted within the ‘New Product, Service or Technology’ category for the upcoming Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA) Sustainability Impact Awards.
IEMA is a professional body for everyone working in environment and sustainability. Their inaugural awards recognise people and companies who are positively contributing to the environment and helping organisations strive to meet IEMA’s global sustainability standards.
The Sustainability Impact Awards aims to showcase innovation and expertise through 16 award categories for organisations and three for individuals.
The Biodiversity Toolkit, developed in conjunction with Berkeley Homes, is designed to assist developers in achieving a biodiversity net gain in an accountable and structured manner. This includes a detailed project management and Biodiversity Impact Assessment (BIA) calculator, BREEAM pre-assessment summary, ecology survey calendar, species planting lists, and lists of national and local priority habitats and species to allow for effective ecological design.
The Awards ceremony will be hosted at The Brewery in London on 20 September.
Our Biodiversity Toolkit also won the Innovator Award at the Property Week Management All-Star Awards.
