International Women in Engineering Day
We are proud to celebrate the eighth year of International Women in Engineering Day (#INWED21) today, 23 June.
This year’s #INWED21 theme is ‘engineering heroes’, with the aim to raise the profile of women in engineering and focus attention on the different career opportunities available to women in the construction industry.
In celebration of INWED21, we ventured out to the City of London to visit two of our fantastic projects, Gresham St Pauls and Warwick Court, to speak to a variety of our own engineers and gain fascinating insights from the brilliant female-led project team behind the major refurbishment of Warwick Court. Click here to watch our video featuring inspiring stories and advice for future engineers from our Polly Clifton, Rebecca Cadwallader and Ruth Tatanga, along with Stanhope’s Laura Collins, Victoria Caines from Alinea Consulting and Irene Rodriguez from Mace.
We are also pleased to hear from Sadhbh Donovan in our Dublin office as she tells us what inspired her to choose a career in engineering and her advice to those are interested in joining the industry. To view, click here.
