Major Project Win

Waterman (Sydney) has been appointed to a Barangaroo Delivery Authority project as part of the Baulderstone Design and Construct team for the Headland Park and Cultural Centre.

Barangaroo is one of the most ambitious and significant waterfront greening projects in the world and will transform a vacant 22 hectare industrial site into a new community, residential and commercial precinct for Sydney. The Headland Park and Cultural Space will provide a unique opportunity for generations of residents and visitors to Sydney to enjoy.

The selection of Baulderstone and its team of designers to deliver this exciting $163 million project was testament to the capacity of the team to deliver one of the most complex building and engineering projects.

Waterman will provide mechanical engineering services including designs for the harbour water heat rejection/exchange system.

The Headland Park is currently scheduled for opening in late 2014.
