Tapestry Building wins RIBA London Award
We are delighted that our project Tapestry Building has won a RIBA London Award at the RIBA Regional Awards.
The Award aims to recognise successful projects that reflect changes and innovations in architecture, but at their core display a commitment to designing and developing buildings and spaces for the improvement and enhancement of people’s lives.
The Tapestry Building is a 15-storey building across 400,000ft2 which offers an outstanding collection of one, two and three bedroom apartments, townhouses and penthouses. It is part of one of the biggest urban projects of its kind in Europe, located just north of King’s Cross and St Pancras international stations in Central London.
Waterman was appointed to provide MEP services design, Acoustic Consultancy, Code for Sustainable Homes (CfSH) and BREEAM Assessment services for the project.
The winners were announced at the awards ceremony on 22nd May 2017 at the RIBA, 66 Portland Place in London.
The Tapestry Building will now be considered for a RIBA National Award in recognition of architectural excellence which will be announced in June
Congratulations to all those involved in this project!
