We are delighted that two of our Glasgow based projects have been awarded in the prestigious Saltire Housing Design Awards 2015. The Poolnoon and Laurieston scooped three awards at the ceremony held at the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation with Margaret Burgess, Minister for Housing and Welfare presenting the accolades.
The Award by the Saltire Society has been running since 1937 and celebrates innovation and excellence in Scottish house building and place-making across five categories.
The Polnoon design won the Saltire Award for ‘Innovation in Housing’ whilst the Laurieston Transformational Regeneration Area (TRA) fought off an exceptionally high quality shortlist of contenders to claim prizes for the Best Multiple Housing Development and the Best Landscape in Housing.
Our Waterman team is extremely proud to have been involved in the design of the highways and civil engineering elements of the Polnoon project and all structural, civil and building services for Laurieston.
