Waterman shortlisted for CIHT Collaboration Award
We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the ‘CIHT Collaboration Award’ at the CIHT (Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation) Awards 2017.
The Awards celebrate best practice in the highways and transportation industry. The ‘CIHT Collaboration Award’ recognises the achievements and added value that can result from effective collaboration in the development and/or delivery of solutions.
In 2015 the Midlands Highway Alliance (MHA) awarded a four year, £30-million Professional Services Partnership (PSP) contract to an AECOM Waterman partnership to deliver multidisciplinary professional design services and support 20 councils on highways projects.
Waterman’s specialist secondment services division, Waterman Aspen, has been working with AECOM teams from South Yorkshire to Buckinghamshire, and Telford & Wrekin to Peterborough to deliver a range of services including major highway improvements, maintenance and road safety projects, town centre regeneration schemes and transport studies.
Chris Chaplin, MD of Waterman Aspen, commented; “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the CIHT Collaboration Award. Our partnership with AECOM and members of the MHA has been a great success and we are very pleased to continue to reinforce our position as market leaders in the delivery of highways and municipal engineering services.”
The winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony on 15th June 2017 at the Troxy in London.
