Waterman shortlisted for ‘NCE100 Companies of the Year’ Award
We are pleased to have been shortlisted in the category ‘Excellence in Urban Living’ for our work on Graven Hill at NCE100 Companies of the Year Awards.
The NCE100 Awards recognise the most forward-thinking, innovative firms operating in civil engineering today. All of which are driving the industry forward: increasing productivity; embracing cultural change; and contributing to the community in the UK and worldwide.
The ‘Excellence in Urban Living’ category explores firms doing the most to address the key challenge of urban densification with a view to enabling sustainable and healthy development of our cities.
Graven Hill is a unique development, located just to the south of Bicester, Oxfordshire and is the UK’s largest self and custom build housing scheme.
The 188-hectare site, when complete, will accommodate up to 1,900 homes, with local amenities, 1 million sq ft of commercial space and employment space creating significant new employment opportunities.
Waterman has provided full engineering and environmental consultancy services for the project.
All finalists will be judged by a 50-strong jury, made up of clients, contractors, consultants and industry bodies.
The award winners will be revealed at a gala dinner on 23rd May at the Troxy, London.
