Waterman’s Partnership with AECOM and MHA makes Collaborative Awards shortlist
We are pleased to announce that our Partnership with The Midlands Highway Alliance (MHA) and AECOM has been shortlisted in the Collaborative Awards 2016, Public/Private sector category.
The award recognises individuals and organisations who have been innovators for collaborative working and who have demonstrated collaborative excellence. This includes individual organisations that have been pathfinders for industrial collaborative relationships where partners have realised the benefits of working together. The Public/Private sector category celebrates outstanding Public Private Partnership relationships that have demonstrated exceptional performance and benefits realisation through the effective use of collaboration.
The shortlisted initiative is a £30 million Professional Services Partnership (PSP) contract to deliver multidisciplinary professional design services. Involving support to 20 councils that are members of the MHA on highway projects across the Midlands, this alliance has created opportunities for local councils to collaborate in order to reduce costs and generate efficiency improvements in the delivery of highway services, as well as sharing best practices.
Waterman Group’s secondment services division, involves secondment of 70 professional and technical staff delivering a range of services, including major highway improvements, maintenance and road safety projects, town centre regeneration schemes and transport studies.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony which will be held on 8th December at the House of Lords, London.
