Degree Apprenticeships in Engineering
London and Redhill, United Kingdom
We are looking to recruit Apprentices to join our Structural, Civil and Building Services Engineering teams in September 2017.
Apprenticeships are a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn and is ideal for students who could go to University, but have decided to gain qualifications through an alternative route. We are looking for engineering leaders of the future, and offer the opportunity to gain broad experience within a leading engineering and environmental consultancy with international reach.
As part of our Apprentice Programme, you can develop your skills and knowledge of specialist programmes (such as AutoCAD and Revit) while working on a wide range of high profile projects for a diverse client base, gaining valuable work experience and formal qualifications at the same time as earning a competitive salary.
This hands-on experience is typically complemented by one day per week at University where you will be studying for a Level 6 qualification (degree) in Civil or Building Services Engineering. Many of our Apprentices go on to achieve Chartered Engineer status.
In order to meet the challenges within the work and degree programme, we are looking for candidates with the following academic achievements:
• 5 GCSEs grades A-C, with a B or above in Maths. We would also expect grade C or above in English and a Science subject.
• 3 A-Levels at grade B or above, typically to include Maths / Science subjects.
Capable students who do not have the stated Maths / Science qualifications will also be considered, but will need to complete the Level 3 apprenticeship with us to get the right foundations in place before moving onto the degree.
If you have a passion for engineering and are ready to take your first step towards a challenging yet fulfilling career, please send your CV to Nick Harrison, our Learning & Development Manager.
Please note that we are also interested in hearing from students who would be looking to start an Apprenticeship in 2018.
Note: no canvassers or recruitment consultants please.
