Due to a growing workload we have an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join our Geotechnical Team based out of Perth, Scotland.

As a Graduate Engineer your role will consist of both site based and office working. Responsibilities will include site visits to carry out inspection walkovers, ground investigation supervision and monitoring of geotechnical instrumentation.  Working under the supervision of a Senior Engineer, office works will involve Preparing Phase 1 Desk Studies, Ground Investigation Specification and Tender Documents, Phase 2 Ground Investigation Interpretative & Geotechnical Design Reports and assisting Senior Engineers with data entry and design analysis.

The role offers excellent training and development, providing exposure from site inception through to construction completion on a range of small to large-scale development projects in a variety of sectors and working within a team of experienced engineers on national projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Educated to masters degree level or equivalent in Geotechnical Engineering / Engineering Geology;
  • Familiar with Eurocode design standards;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Prepared to progress Professional Development through the Institution of Civil Engineers or Geological Society;
  • Ability to manage work to tight deadlines;
  • A knowledge of geotechnical software packages and ability to use AutoCAD would be beneficial;
  • UK Driving licence.
