1 New Burlington Place shortlisted for Wood Award

We are delighted that our project 1 New Burlington Place has been shortlisted in the ‘Interiors’ category at the Wood Awards 2017.

The Wood Awards is the UK’s premier competition for excellence in architecture and product design in the world’s only naturally sustainable material.

The criteria for the Wood Awards is based on design, craftsmanship, quality of installation. The ‘interiors’ category recognises fitted interiors in all types of buildings.

1 New Burlington Place is a mixed-use development redeveloping a disparate series of buildings into a cohesively layered urban block. The scheme comprises 79,000 square feet of office space over six floors, 33,000 square feet of retail space over three floors, as well as an enhanced public realm and an internal courtyard.

Waterman was appointed to provide structural engineering services on the development.

The winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony on 21 November 2017 at Carpenters’ Hall, London.

Congratulation to all those involved in this exciting project!
