7 Air Street wins ‘Commercial Building Project of the Year’ at The Energy Awards 2016

We are pleased to announce that our project 7 Air Street has won ‘Commercial Building Energy Project of the Year’ at The Energy Awards 2016.

The awards recognise excellence in the energy business, rewarding the achievements of companies cutting emissions and leading the way in innovative energy use. The ‘Commercial Building Project of the Year’ category looks for the year’s best energy-saving projects in the competitive arena of commercial buildings.

7 Air Street is the redevelopment of an existing 10 storey steel framed office building on Regents Street. Waterman was appointed as BREEAM Assessor by The Crown Estate and provided the structural and civil engineering services for the project. The structural works consisted of replacing the roof and upper floors, combining the existing office floor plates at each level, a rooftop extension, a new core, a new reception area and a communal terrace.

The winners were announced at the awards ceremony on 30th November 2016 which was held at Hilton Park Lane in London.

Congratulations to all involved in this exciting project!
