Guildhall Shopping Centre wins at the Revo Gold Awards 2016

We are pleased to announce that our project Guildhall Shopping Centre, Exeter has won in the category ‘Catering and Leisure Destination’ at the Revo Gold Awards 2016.

This category is aimed at developers and asset managers looking to showcase examples of innovative catering and leisure projects that reflect exemplars of how the hospitality industry is reshaping the overall customer experience, both in individual leisure projects and integrated with mixed-use, retail led environments.

Guildhall Shopping Centre is a grade 1 listed building on Queens Street comprising 36,000 sq ft of new and refurbished space hosting 8 best-in-class restaurant brands new to the city and the restoration of a 13th century church.

Our Building Services team in Bristol were appointed by Aviva to provide the mechanical and electrical design services. The project involved re-modelling of existing retail units, incorporating new restaurants and redeveloping the upper levels of the building for the construction of new accommodation, with all existing tenants being able to continue trading throughout this £14 million development.

The winners were announced at the awards ceremony which was held on 7th December 2016 at Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
