The project includes 35 high-quality residential apartments along with 9,518m2 of retail floorspace, 1,418m2 of restaurants and cafes as well as 10,797m2 of office and 24 car parking spaces.

Our Structures team was appointed by Chelsfield to provide engineering consultancy advice and our Air Quality Team were appointed to implement designs to reduce impacts and improve local air quality conditions for residential users.

Our Air Quality team undertook the following Residential Mitigation Design Measures:

• Residential uses located above ground level away from vehicle emissions;
• Proposed mechanical ventilation system for future users, which will be fitted with filters to remove nitrogen dioxide (NO2) from the air prior to ventilating the units;
• All parking spaces to include electric charging points;
• Establishment of two electric pool cars for use by residents;
• Provision of 310 cycle spaces at basement level 3, along with shower and changing facilities;
• Provision of green infrastructure, including a green wall, trees and plants within the residential courtyard and roof gardens;
• Widening of the footway along Brompton Road and Sloane Street to improve pedestrian conditions;
• Relocation of the Knightsbridge Underground Station to provide step free access and improve the accessibility to the Station for pedestrians; and
• Removal of multiple poor performing heating and energy combustion plants and provision of a site wide heating and energy plant with low emissions.
