Peter graduated from the University of Wales, Cardiff in 1979 and commenced his postgraduate engineering career with the London Boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley.

Elected Chartered Engineer ICE in 1985, he joined Howard Humphreys/Brown and Root (Civil) and was promoted to Associate in 1989. Peter was elected Fellow of the Institution of Highways and Transportation in 1993 and set up Inroads Design which merged with Waterman Partnership in 1997 to form a new transport division; Waterman Inroads within the Civil Engineering Department.

In 2002, Peter was appointed a Director of Waterman Burrow Crocker Ltd., the Group’s former civil engineering and outsourcing business and in 2014 was appointed Director of Waterman Infrastructure & Environment Ltd., that now combines the Groups civil engineering, environmental and outsourcing businesses.

Peter possesses a broad range of civil and municipal engineering experience with particular emphasis on the provision of infrastructure associated with urban development.

Peter is a Chartered Environmentalist and is the Director responsible for many of Waterman’s major infrastructure projects, and civil engineering input into the Group’s urban regeneration schemes. He is also the Director responsible for a number of Frameworks throughout the UK.
