10 Inverness Campus shortlisted at the BCO Scottish Awards

We are delighted that our project 10 Inverness Campus has been shortlisted in the category ‘Corporate Workplace’ at the BCO Scottish Awards 2017.

The BCO’s primary objectives is to define excellence in office space and provide public recognition for top quality design and functionality. The BCO Awards are widely respected within the commercial property sector and acknowledges innovation and focuses external attention on examples of best practice.

10 Inverness Campus is the development of an Enterprise and Research Hub in Scotland. The scheme comprises 4,800m2 of new facilities for the University of Highlands and Islands and is the headquarters for the Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE).

The Hub includes a state of the art digital centre, teaching, research and laboratory facilities and an innovative Science Academy all under one roof. It has been arranged as two separate buildings connected by a double-height communication space to encourage collaboration between the research, teaching and business faculties.

Waterman was appointed to provide civil & structural and mechanical & electrical engineering design services for the project.

The winners will be announced at the BCO Scotland Awards on 7th April 2017 at The Grand Central in Glasgow.
