Amrit Ghose to speak at CIRIA Maintaining Civil Infrastructure conference

Amrit Ghose, Framework Director for Waterman Infrastructure & Environment, will be speaking at the Construction Industry Research and Information Association (CIRIA) Maintaining Civil Infrastructure conference at the Maurice Bloch Lecture Theatre in Scotland on 28 March 2019.

The one-day conference, run by CIRIA in partnership with Concrete Repairs Ltd, will examine the latest approaches to infrastructure asset management. As well as networking with fellow industry professionals, delegates are expected to learn and explore the role of non-destructive testing techniques in managing hidden defects.

This will showcase the best practice for assessing the risks from hidden defects, adopting emergent technologies which assist in their management and implementing structural repairs which can prevent the formation / mitigate against their impact.

With over 25 years’ experience of highway & bridge engineering and asset management, Amrit is responsible for many of Waterman’s major public sector framework contracts and was Project Director for the team that produced the CIRIA Guide on Hidden Defects in Bridges.
