Architects Journal Award Win for Marlborough Primary School

Published 3rd August 2023

Waterman are delighted that Marlborough Primary School has won the Architects Journal 2018 ‘School Project of the Year’ award!

The awards were presented at last night’s gala dinner held at the Roundhouse in Camden, London, and are among the most sought-after in the built environment sector. Each year, winning projects are recognised for their architectural excellence across the industry.

The Marlborough Primary School in London moved into its new premises in September 2017. The school’s design has transformed an urban site into a series of terraces, now housing a school centred around day lit space and external play space. With generously-resourced state-of-the-art facilities, the 2018 RIBA National Award-winning design features outdoor learning spaces, two large hall spaces, a community room, a dance studio, a creative media suite, an art and design studio and a multi-use games area on the roof.

Congratulations to all those involved in this exciting project!
