Autumn’s here – but the ecology season doesn’t stop

Even though we are now in autumn, our ecology specialists continue to conduct surveys throughout the winter months.

Now is the time to plan the following surveys:
• Badgers;
• Wintering Birds;
• Brown Hares;
• Otters; and
• Bats – including hibernation and ground based and climbing tree assessments.

Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs) undertaken during the Winter period will put your development programme on a firm footing to be able to plan notable/protected fauna and floral surveys in Spring and/or Summer 2017, avoiding costly delays.

Our advice is tailored to client needs so we are happy to undertake initial project surveys to provide feasibility advice ahead of any formal planning application.

We are based across the UK, including Scotland and we always work closely with project teams to deliver the most cost-effective and time efficient solutions.
