Charlie Scott to speak at Explore Offsite at Futurebuild

Waterman are delighted that Charlie Scott, Director for Structures, will be speaking at the Explore Offsite Masterclass at Futurebuild, a Construction Conference and Exhibition, on 7 March.

The free Masterclass provides expert information across four dedicated seminar theatres, each addressing a specific technology focus; Structural Timber, Light Gauge Steel Frame, Volumetric Modular and Precast Concrete.

Across three days, over 100 speakers will be sharing their expertise on using offsite construction technology to design a more sustainable built environment, bringing together a range of supply-chain specialists and industry leaders.

Charlie will be speaking within the retail and leisure session within the Precast Concrete Masterclass to discuss the structural design involved to support the dramatic diagrid pre-cast concrete facades of the iconic John Lewis shopping centre in Leeds.

A key feature of Charlie’s career has been his enthusiasm for promoting design excellence and innovation through his work and also within Waterman.

The event will be taking place at the Royal Victoria Dock in ExCel London.
