Everyman Theatre on new set of stamps

We are very proud to see our project Everyman Theatre in Liverpool feature on a new set of stamps launched by the Royal Mail to celebrate 10 iconic buildings that epitomise the recent ‘renaissance of contemporary architecture’.

The collection, which went on sale 14th July, features a host of RIBA Stirling Prize winners and finalists. According to the Royal Mail, the special stamps ‘capture the distinctive lines and shapes’ of public buildings that are now regarded as famous landmarks.

Philip Parker, Royal Mail Stamp Strategy Manager, commented; “These new stamps celebrate visionary buildings which combine stunning architecture with great engineering.”

Our building services team has been actively involved in the development programme for the Everyman and responsible for the full detailed design of all Building Services Engineering which involved designing one of the first naturally ventilated auditoriums in the country.
