Exposed services prominent feature in Glen House new office premises
We are delighted to have been appointed by Romulus Construction for the refurbishment of Glen House, a 32,000 sq ft office building, located close to the Hammersmith transport hub.
The refurbishment will see its ground, 1st and 2nd floors transformed into a contemporary new work space.
Waterman’s Building Services team have been assisting Delvendahl Martin Architects in recreating the office space which will include exposed coffered concrete ceilings with energy efficient LED feature lighting. The existing suspended ceilings will be removed and the exposed building services strategy will increase in height to create a modern environment. The floors and cores will also be remodelled to increase lettable area and the toilets will be fully refurbished.
Mark Terndrup, Waterman’s Building Services Director, commented; “This project will be a great example of how we can transform existing buildings into fantastic places to work. With the exposed services strategy being such a prominent and important part of the aesthetic principles, we are working hand in hand with Delvendahl Martin Architects to ensure that the finest details are considered so that the vision for the space is delivered without compromise.”
Construction is due to commence in April 2018.
