Georgia Lilley joins CPA’s NextGen Steering Group

We are proud that Georgia Lilley, a Design Engineer Apprentice in Waterman’s London Structures team, has joined the City Property Association’s (CPA) NextGen Steering Group.

Launched to support the next generation of industry leaders, the steering group consists of young talent from CPA member companies who will promote debates on key topics, engage with industry stakeholders and encourage multidisciplinary collaboration to guide the future as London continues to evolve.

A not-for-profit organisation, CPA represents major owners, occupiers, developers, investors and advisors to real estate in the City of London, comprising over 150 member companies and 1,500 professionals from associated networks.

Georgia recently won ACE’s Apprentice of the Year Award. She joined Waterman’s apprentice scheme in September 2018 and has since worked on a number of major projects, including London’s 80 Charlotte Street and 30-34 New Bridge Street. Passionate about inspiring the next generation of civil engineers and raising the profile of careers in this exciting field, Georgia has participated in a wide range of STEM activities including speaking engagements, panel debates and career fairs at schools, colleges and universities.
