Glen House refurbishment completes

Waterman are delighted to announce that work to this Art-Deco styled building in Hammersmith, London, is now complete. Glen House benefits from its close proximity to the bustling Hammersmith transport hub, maximising tenant accessibility. This fresh refurbishment of the old office spaces has transformed the ground, 1st and 2nd floors into contemporary new workspace with a dynamic and modern-industrial aesthetic.

Waterman’s building services team have been assisting Delvendahl Martin Architects in reshaping the office space for Romulus, which includes the exposing of the coffered concrete ceilings with energy efficient LED feature lighting and new WCs. The existing suspended ceiling was removed, and the adoption of the new exposed building services strategy provides a more generous feeling of height, creating a modern and spacious work environment. The floors and cores have also been remodelled to improve the flow and access into the office space.

Mark Terndrup, Waterman’s Building Services Director, commented; “It’s always challenging working with existing buildings and this project was no exception. It’s fantastic to see the outdated office space totally transformed and it’s been great to be part of the team that has created this new modern workplace.”
