James Trafford and Josh Wilce appointed to CIWEM RCG and East Midlands Regional committees
Waterman are delighted that two members of Waterman Aspen have been accepted to join the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) Rivers and Coastal Group (RCG) and East Midlands Regional committees.
The CIWEM is a forum for professional and technical members that aims to lead the way in promoting excellence and effectively influence the government, NGOs and the wider community within policies which affect the physical and social elements of floor and erosion risk management.
James Trafford, an Associate Director who joined Waterman Aspen in June, was elected to the RCG committee where he will be directly involved in promoting the development of the sciences affecting the profession and joining the Technical Panel for the Institution for matters relating to flood and coastal erosion risk management. He is also a CIWEM Mentor and is currently mentoring staff within Waterman Aspen in order to become a Chartered Member.
James and Josh will be joining Peter O’Flaherty, an Associate within our infrastructure & environment team in London, who was also elected to the Rivers and Coastal Group committee in September.
