Lida Christou joins London team as Senior Geotechnical Engineer

We are delighted to welcome Lida Christou to our expanding Geotechnical team in London.

A Senior Geotechnical Engineer with an MSc in Soil Mechanics and Engineering Seismology, Lida joins us from BuroHappold Engineering where she worked on the Stratford Waterfront and Battersea Power Station Redevelopment projects.

Lida’s wider portfolio features a range of challenging and high-profile projects across the UK, Europe and Middle East.

Particular highlights include: Greenwich Peninsula Development (a four block residential development in North Greenwich, London); Mega-city development (featuring the development of a new city with a tunnel or bridge crossing founded on a seismic active area); Red Line South and Gold Line Doha metro (a huge project in the Middle East, acting as Lead Designer for the geotechnical input on 15 metro stations and tunnel alignments); Race Bank Offshore Windfarm; Burbo Bank Extension and Walney Offshore Windfarm (design of large piles and spudcans in an offshore environment).
