Parkeray appoints Waterman for The Clubhouse fit-out at Angel Court

We are delighted to announce our appointment by Parkeray for The Clubhouse fit-out at Angel Court.

The newly completed scheme in Mitsui Fudosan UK (‘Mitsui Fudosan’) and development partner Stanhope plc’s portfolio, provides high quality office space, with a range of new floorplates of up to 27,000 sq ft in a unique core location next to the Bank of England.

The Clubhouse, London’s leading business club, has taken 12,500 sq ft of space at Angel Court, across the building’s seventh and eighth floors. The new luxurious facilities in the City are the latest by The Clubhouse CEO & Founder Adam Blaskey, with his club already operating successfully in Mayfair and St. James’s. With direct access to a large terrace with panoramic views across London. the fit-out includes flexible working space, conference room and meeting spaces – a touchdown space for those travelling between meetings requiring either hot desk or dedicated desk facilities.

Waterman’s team provided multidiscipline engineering services for Angel Court, and will be working alongside specialist fit-out contractor Parkeray and Fletcher Priest Architects to integrate the Mechanical & Electrical services with the interior design as well as providing structural advice for the formation of the new link stair connectivity between the 7th & 8th floor.

Waterman’s Building Services Director, Mark Terndrup, said; “We are delighted to be able to assist The Clubhouse and Parkeray in being part of delivering this exciting business expansion. The Clubhouse offering reflects the change in the office sector requirements and it is great to be able to design spaces that respond to the new flexible working culture and providing facilities for new start-up businesses.”

Ben Wills, Commercial Manager of Parkeray, said; “We are very pleased to have been selected by The Clubhouse to undertake this great fit-out project. We have the right team on board to deliver the project on time and to the exacting standards required by all parties.“

The Clubhouse is due to open its doors at Angel Court in October 2017.
