Spotlight falls on better transport provision at Northern Transport Summit

With improving transport central to driving growth across the Northern Powerhouse, Place North West’s third annual ‘Northern Transport Summit’ will give an in-depth view of the latest opportunities and challenges facing investors in the regions transport.

The Waterman-sponsored event, taking place at the Hilton Manchester City Centre on 16th May, offers a full day of expert insight from policy shapers, transport operators and developers debating the impact of the sector. Keynote speakers and panellists include the Secretary of State for Transport, Chris Grayling, Councillor Judith Blake CBE, Leader of Leeds City Council, former Olympic cycling champion and Greater Manchester cycling and walking commissioner, Chris Boardman and Andy Burnham, the Mayor of Greater Manchester.
