UK GBC Health and Well-being in Homes: Report Launch

Our Infrastructure & Environment team have been active members of the UK GBC working group, ‘Better Places for People: Health and Well-being in Homes’.

This project is aimed at gathering evidence and guidance on the links between the built environment and tangible health and well-being outcomes, in order to increase awareness within the industry.

The working group has produced a report which highlights best practice guidance, metrics and value of health and wellbeing for various key stakeholders. This report aims to shift the market towards a focus on the mental, social and physical health and wellbeing of the people who occupy the homes we build and retrofit.

The UK Green Building Council Health and Well-being in Homes report was launched on the 5th of July. To download a copy of the report, please click here.

For further information on the health and wellbeing in the built environment, WELL Certification and/or the Health and Well-being in Homes project please contact Emily Low, Technical Director or Ritu Rajashekar, Senior Sustainability Consultant.
