Waterman appointed on major Consultancy Framework

We are pleased to have been appointed by the London Borough of Lewisham as sole supplier on a framework to provide Highway Design, Drainage, Flood Risk and Transport Planning Services.

Lewisham is currently formulating a new long term transport strategy (the Local Implementation Plan) and has ambitious plans to deliver a range of measures in support of Healthy Streets, cycling and walking, improved air quality, traffic and road danger reduction. It will also be working in partnership with TfL and Network Rail on larger scale interventions such as the Bakerloo Line Extension, Lewisham Interchange, and masterplans for “good growth” New Cross Gate and Catford.

The three-year framework is estimated to be worth up to £2m per annum, with the option to be further extended by a year. The contract is also extended to all the other London Boroughs who are members of the London Contracts and Supplies Group (LCSG).

Amrit Ghose, Waterman’s Regional Director for the framework, commented; “We are delighted to have been appointed by the Council and we look forward to working with them to deliver outstanding services to the people of Lewisham. Our appointment is another key step in our plans to grow our public sector business across the South East and the rest of the UK.”
