Waterman appointed on National Gallery Accommodation Hub

We are delighted to have been appointed by the National Gallery in London to provide acoustic services for a new office and staff hub at the National Gallery.

The gallery offices are currently disjointed and split across several locations and the aim of the project is to consolidate the office areas into a central hub space to encourage collaboration between the teams.

The development includes two large light well areas with open-plan offices at multiple levels open to the light wells.

Waterman will provide acoustic design advice through to practical completion for the scheme, including acoustic modelling of complex spaces to ensure a high-quality acoustic environment can be delivered whilst maintaining the client’s aesthetic desires for the space.

Mark Maclagan, Waterman’s Technical Director for Acoustics, commented; “We are delighted to have been appointed on this prestigious project and look forward to working with both the National Gallery and the design team in delivering this exciting project.”
