Waterman Appoints New Infrastructure Associate Director

We are pleased to welcome Darren Salmons as Associate Director to our Infrastructure team in Birmingham.

Darren has over 15-years’ experience in the design, delivery and project management of highway and energy projects for both public sector and private clients.

Prior to joining Waterman, Darren worked for Atkins on major schemes for Highways England and Network Rail including the M54/M6 to M6 Toll Link Road and East West Rail. Darren was also the Transportation business lead for Professional Apprentices and contributed to the nationwide redevelopment of the BTEC qualifications for civil engineering.

He will play a leading role in developing our infrastructure business in the region and joins at an exciting time with huge potential for growth in all our markets.”

The Birmingham team has recently relocated to larger premises in One Cornwall Street to support the expanding workload and strategic plan to develop the business in the West Midlands.

Waterman has had a presence in Birmingham for over 30 years and the team has provided engineering and consultancy services on many high profile projects across the Midlands including Elliot’s Field Retail Park, MIRA, Bull Ring Birmingham, Burnt Tree Island Improvements, High Cross Leicester and the Manufacturing Technology Centre at Ansty Park.
