Waterman expands Crawley framework partnership

Waterman is delighted to have been appointed by Crawley Borough Council to provide a range of consultancy services under a series of partnership agreements.

The appointments are initially for three years with the potential of a 2 year extension and cover the following services;

• Civil Engineering
• Flood alleviation and drainage services
• Building Control/Building Regulation Checks

Waterman has held partnership contracts with Crawley since 2005 for civil engineering and for flood alleviation and drainage services.

Geoff Waller, Waterman Project Manager for the partnership commented “We are delighted to have the opportunity to continue our work with Crawley Borough Council and expand the range of services we provide, helping deliver value for money for the residents of the borough.”

The appointment with Crawley follows on from other recent successful public sector appointments including the Sussex Consortium Framework Agreement for Planning Consultancy Services and the new Partnering Term Contract with the London Borough of Bexley. The appointment with Bexley follows on the back of three successive five year term contracts with the Borough, dating back to 1996.

Les Darrall, Waterman’s Director for local authority frameworks commented “Waterman’s commitment to the public sector remains as strong as ever and our recent successful appointments are testament to the dedication of our staff and our core values of working in partnership with our clients to achieve successful and sustainable outcomes.”
