Waterman presented with a trophy at the CIBSE Yorkshire Awards 2016
We are pleased to announce that our Building Services team has been presented with a trophy for ‘Collaborative Working Partnership’ at the CIBSE Yorkshire Awards 2016 to recognise their collaboration on the North Lindsey College project.
The Awards celebrate projects produced by individuals and companies in the building services industry at all levels.
North Lindsey College involved the refurbishment of two-storey specialist teaching areas for motor vehicle repairs, fabrication and wielding, sports, hair and beauty. Waterman was appointed to undertake the design of the college redevelopment. We played a key part in leading the co-ordination of the heavily serviced workshop teaching areas and led the efficient design with innovative solutions to integrate existing campus services and equipment to new services.
The project received particular praise by the judges for the Post Occupancy Evaluation, Indoor air Quality Monitoring and the positive feedback received by the college.
Steven Halmshaw, Director of Building Services in Leeds, commented; “We are delighted to have been acknowledged for our efforts and collaboration as a team. It has been an exciting project for all of us, working closely and effectively with all parties throughout the entire project to meet the redevelopment needs of North Lindsey College.”
The awards ceremony was held on Friday 18th November at the Royal Armouries in Leeds.
