Waterman secures place on Merseytravel Framework
Waterman is delighted to announce our appointment on the Merseytravel Framework, delivering a range of engineering and environmental consultancy services.
The 4-year framework agreement builds on the success of our previous appointments with Merseytravel and will see our team providing an increased scope of services. The new framework will cover advice and support across tunnels, civil & structural engineering, transport, highways infrastructure, environmental, health, safety and quality (EHSQ), and business case development.
Merseytravel is the executive body that provides professional, strategic and operational transport advice to the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. The Combined Authority’s six local authorities: Halton Borough Council; Knowsley Council; Liverpool City Council; St Helen Council; Sefton Council; and, Wirral Council have come together to drive a shared agenda to deliver transport projects supporting the economic growth of the thriving Liverpool City Region.
The framework can also be used by the constituent councils of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and the Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).
John Hughes, Regional Director for Waterman infrastructure and environment in the North West commented; “Our team has a successful track record of delivering projects for Merseytravel and the other authorities, and we look forward to building on our existing relationships and successes over the 4-year framework period.”
