Waterman strengthen team with new Regional Director
Waterman Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Moore as Regional Director of our Infrastructure and Environment team, focusing on London & Southern Counties.
Paul joins from Ridge and Partners, having previously worked at WSP|PB, bringing over 20 years’ experience of development infrastructure, highways, flood risk, and drainage, principally with multidisciplinary consultancies.
During his career, Paul has been involved in a wide range of challenging infrastructure projects, both in London and across the UK. Notably, he was the Project and Design Manager for the technical delivery of the Peters Village development near Wouldham in Kent, as the Project Manager for the Vehicle Incursion Studies programme for London Underground, and the Lead for transport and highways/urban design discussions relating to the Canada Waters Decathlon site planning approvals.
Similarly, he has a depth of experience in residential schemes such as the Barton Farm and Kings Barton residential development of 2,000 new homes north of Winchester, and the Chapel Gate development of 578 new homes and public open spaces, including the converted Eli Lilly building in Basingstoke.
Paul’s experience extends across every stage of the planning and design process, from transactional due diligence, initial feasibility studies, and conceptual masterplanning through to detailed design. He also brings considerable experience in leading multidisciplinary teams, providing environmental risk assessments and associated professional and commercial advice to investors, developers, contractors, landowners, and Local Authorities.
Neil Humphrey, Chief Operating Officer for Waterman Infrastructure & Environment, commented; “We’re delighted to welcome Paul to the business to support our continuing growth in the UK. Paul has an impressive track record in delivering complex development infrastructure projects and is very client-focussed, ensuring that the commercial needs of the client are central to the design development. This is very much aligned with our own ethos, as we continue to grow the business across a range of sectors.”
