Waterman wins ‘Consultancy of the Year’ at National CDM Awards

We are delighted to have won ‘Consultancy of the Year’ at the APS (Association for Project Safety) National CDM Awards 2017.

The Awards took place on the 19th October at Gibson Hall in London, and recognise excellence in construction health and safety risk management – from the wellbeing of workers to those who live and work in the buildings delivered by the construction industry.

The ‘Consultancy of the Year’ category celebrates inspirational good practice in health and safety consultancy and training. Waterman’s submission highlighted how health and safety risk management is core to our business and detailed our procedures for raising health and safety awareness as well as the skills of our staff. Our team also demonstrated experience in CDM 2015 and the role of Principal Designer, helping to make the industry a safer place for all construction workers.

Lesley McLeod, CEO of APS commented; “Everyone given an award is a beacon, showing the rest of the industry what can be done and how to incorporate proportionate health and safety risk management.”
Congratulations to all those involved!
