We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded a new contract by Merseytravel through a mini-tender to provide independent scrutiny of major scheme business cases.

Merseytravel delivers transport projects that support the economic growth of the Liverpool city region. The aim is to improve connectivity within the region and beyond, enhancing customer experience from ticket buying to maintaining the integrated transport network.

Our team will provide multidisciplinary engineering consultancy services, which emphasises on an increased scope to cover expertise across rail, civil & structural, transport, highways infrastructure and business case development for bus stations, tunnels, ferry terminals, public attractions, engineering workshops, park and ride facilities.

David Prior, Associate Director, commented: “We have been providing Merseytravel with business case support for major schemes for several years. We are delighted that the new appointment will enable us to continue with and expand upon those existing working arrangements. This appointment is particularly significant given the Single Investment Fund and other changes that are occurring within the Liverpool area. We look forward to assisting with the exciting and innovative major scheme proposals that are being developed for the Liverpool City Region.”
