Waterman “Wonders” crowned Season Champions of Division 4

We are delighted to announce that our company softball team, the Waterman “Wonders”, successfully batted their way into the Finals of the London Advertising Softball League (LASL) and were awarded Season Champions of Division 4.

The League consists of 5 Divisions, each containing 13 teams from companies across London, playing 12 matches from April till August in Regents Park.

After being knocked out in the Semi-Finals last year, the Wonders won this year’s Final with an impressive 27 to 6 runs across five innings against ASOS’s “Blue Steelers”. In addition to winning a trophy, there is a chance the team could be promoted up to Division 3 for next season.

Ben Crew, Team Captain, commented; “Having played for our second year now, the LASL has proved a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and build relations both in and out of the office. We had a great team this year and their hard work and dedication really paid off.”

The LASL end of season party was held on the 17th August at Sway in Covent Garden. You can visit their website here, or find out more about softball in the UK by clicking here.
