Westgate Oxford scoops BCIA Award

Last night’s BCIA’s saw Westgate Oxford grab the Commercial Property of the Year award!

The annual British Construction Industry Awards are among the most sought-after in the industry, with winners recognised across the industry for their outstanding contribution to the built-environment. This year the prestigious event took place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.

The new £440m shopping destination in Oxford’s city centre, accommodating 800,000 ft² of retail and leisure outlets, opened its doors in October 2017. The major development, anchored by a three-storey John Lewis department store, boasts over 100 shops, restaurants, cafes and leisure facilities, including a boutique five-screen Curzon Cinema. Waterman provided multidisciplinary services, covering structural, civil engineering, environmental and flood risk services.

Congratulations to everyone involved with the project!
