This new civic accommodation has been developed for Harrogate City Council Headquarters.
The building includes consolidated offices as well as a new Council Chamber and Customer Services department.

The development’s structure consists of curved floor plates between two and four storeys in height and utilises a steel frame solution using exposed precast floor units for the building services design.

We were appointed to provide structural engineering services. Our team overcame engineering challenges including a steeply sloping site, partially occupied by existing properties which was closely surrounded by mature woodland containing a number of protected trees.
