Retail is no longer simply about delivering actual products to consumers – the experience itself is essential, and must therefore be improved to suit changing demands.

Waterman has extensive experience in providing urban engineering master planning advice, parking designs, highway design services and transportation input for major retail schemes.

Past projects
Our impressive portfolio encompasses new development schemes, refurbishment and alteration works, retained elements, historic building retention, mixed-use schemes and multi-storey car park design. We’ve successfully delivered a wide range of projects, from large town centre schemes such as Westfield in London, Trinity and Victoria Gate in Leeds, Cabot Circus in Bristol to major out of town schemes such as Bluewater in Kent. Our VIVA ‘Best of the Best’ design and development award for Trinity Leeds is yet another point of pride.

Economic and environmental considerations
Our list of repeat customers acts as testament to our dedication to high quality. We aim to satisfy the market for ethical consumption by keeping the goal of sustainability in mind throughout our projects, while also ensuring that our cost effective ideas remain within budget. Equally, we refuse to sacrifice technical excellence for innovative designs, rather, we fuse them together to ensure that our retail schemes are state of the art. We aim to fulfil individual needs, which is why we take such pride in our ability to adapt our offerings to suit both our clients needs and the needs of the future retail tenant. We take pride in our work, and aim to deliver excellence in every project we undertake.
