Archaeology & Built Heritage
From strategic review and risk management to planning advice and bespoke assessment, the historic environment can play a critical role in the design and delivery of any project or scheme.
We always seek to tailor our heritage services to meet our clients’ key objectives.
Our Heritage Team provides a wide range of specialist services supporting private and public sector clients from developers through to Local Authorities and Government Agencies. With our breadth of experience in archaeology and built heritage, we can provide robust advice and products for all stages of project delivery, including due diligence, initial feasibility, master planning, outline and detailed planning applications, Project Control Framework stages, Development Control Orders, site investigations and mitigation.
We know it is fundamental to deliver in a timely and cost effective manner, particularly for complex projects employing multidisciplinary teams. Key to helping our clients succeed is to ensure services are accurately scoped, costed and programme managed. Through regular engagement with our wider environmental colleagues at Waterman, we ensure that our advice is consistent with other wider environmental considerations, driving added value, innovation and product development.
We are a registered organisation with the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA).
