River flow data is an environmental requirement for many water-intensive projects, such as hydropower, where the scale of impact can be significant and where desktop derived data may be considered insufficient.
Waterman have invested in the latest flow gauging equipment together with pressure transducers to enable long term flow monitoring in a range of watercourses.
Waterman can offer installation of gauging stations in mountain, rural or urban watercourses and to undertake regular spot gauging in order to develop a stage-discharge relationship. Waterman will then carry out the necessary analysis over the record length to develop flow duration curves based on real data. We work closely with the manufacturer to ensure that the equipment used is accurate and reliable.
