The refurbishment of Cox’s Walk in Southwark has been shortlisted for the Bridges ‘New Life’ Award.
The New Life category recognises an outstanding project involving bridge refurbishment, reconstruction, repurposing or retrofitting for the benefit of the local community.
The bridge, located in Sydenham Woods in Dulwich, was in poor condition and was closed to the public after it being deemed unsafe. Our team, working alongside London Borough of Southwark Council, transformed and strengthened the footbridge, extending its life to deliver a fully refurbished and fit-for-purpose structure.
The winners will be revealed on 12 March at an awards ceremony in Coventry.
