Our extensive portfolio includes some of the most iconic hotels across the UK and we have designed hotels ranging from budget properties to luxury sites for our clients, who include Accor Group, Crowne Plaza, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Malmaison, Marriott, Morgan Hotels and Travelodge.

We’ve delivered everything from major new build schemes and refurbishments, through to complex extensions and conversions. Covering all engineering and environmental disciplines, the multidiscipline approach taken by our team ensures we efficiently and effectively meet all project demands. We understand the importance of enhancing user experience, and our future proofed design solutions are at the forefront of this technology driven sector.

We deliver sustainable facilities that promote health and wellbeing, initiating innovative ways to shape these special spaces. We take a holistic approach to sustainability and low carbon design, considering the project’s whole life carbon cycle, circular economy and operational carbon emissions.

Our specialist sustainability team works alongside our engineers to guide the design process and set the roadmap for achieving the project sustainability goals, certifications and Net Zero targets. Our agile, climate resilient design solutions ensure our work will continually adapt to the changing world, and future proofing our buildings is an essential part of our approach to sustainability and design.

We understand the need for resilience and reliability in our solutions, and continually challenge our strategies to reduce energy use and minimise cost in use through close collaboration with facilities managers.

Our multidiscipline team worked in synergy with KE Hotels, ICA Architects and GA Construction to ensure our design of the Moxy Manchester City Hotel retained the building’s historic character whilst meeting the needs of guests and aligning with the Marriot brand.

10 Trinity Square London

The new Trinity Square Hotel features 100 guest rooms and 41 fully serviced luxury apartments in the centre of London. Overlooking the Tower of London World Heritage Site, the hotel was once home to the Port of London authority but has been transformed into a luxurious hotel providing guests with a 5* hospitality experience. Hotel amenities include two restaurants, the Michelin two star La Dame de Pic London and the Rotunda bar, the restored UN Ballroom and Merchants’ Hall, a suite of club and meeting rooms and a luxury spa.

The refurbishment has been designed to preserve the buildings original character, seeing the original central rotunda restored, whilst reconnecting the courtyard space to the greater public realm, including the surrounding Trinity Gardens and Seething Lane Garden.

The scheme’s interior design showcases the restoration and preservation of as many of the surviving original features as possible, including the walnut panelling and rich carvings in the old board room of the Port of London Authority which, in 1946, hosted the reception for the first meeting of the United Nations.

Working alongside the architect, our team provided the Performance Design for MEP, acoustics and BREEAM services, and acted as Client Monitoring consultant for the site stage.

Integration of the new MEP services required complex coordination with the historic building fabric and heritage areas. Water mist fire protection was used to minimise intervention with the existing ceilings and to limit the need for large bulk water storage.
