Waterman is delighted that The Hyde Building in Watford has been shortlisted for an OAS (Office Agents Society) Development Award in the ‘Best Refurbishment / Regeneration Outside of Central London’ category.
Split across 13 categories, the awards recognise excellence in office development and transactions across the wider UK and City of London and West End markets.
Situated on Watford’s Clarendon Road, the landmark Hyde Building has been transformed into state-of-the-art facilities offering from 3,184 up to 50,107 sq ft of office space, with increased floor to ceiling height. The central atrium has been designed as a welcoming breakout space and a brand new south-facing communal roof terrace offers tenants a place to relax and unwind in the fresh air.
Our team lead the structural engineering design which involved extensive structural modifications and enhancements to the existing building. This in turn created a new and modern amenity offering throughout the building.
